Adele is 4!

How did four years fly by so quickly?

We did a birthday breakfast at Denny's and then headed to the Zoo.

Then we came home to a spread fit for a princess (thanks Sueky!) and had some delicious cake.

Easter 2013

Easter was lovely this year ...

We painted cookies, hunted eggs, went to church and ate some delicious roast for dinner.

That Ain't No Easter Egg

We went to the store the day before Easter and saw this barrel clearly marked "Easter Eggs."

I think the store employees need a lesson on the customary meaning of the term.

'Tis The Season Of Performance

Adele's preschool had a performance at the Dicken's Festival at the Salt Lake City Fairgrounds. She was easily the cutest kid there.

They sang a few songs. Here's a small clip of one.

Elsa had a ballet performance. She did a really good job especially since she's only been doing it for a few months and most people in her class have been doing it for a year or more.

Halloween. All.Month.Long!

With parties, and activities, and school things, we had a LOT of Halloween this year.

This is Deli's preschool class. They did a little performance of some songs they learned for Halloween for the moms and dads. Adele is the one with the long blond hair. She was Rapunzel for several of her Halloween engagements this year.

And Ryan was, for work, a jester. Also, I think he said he wanted me to be sure to post a picture of that, so...here he is.

And my group at work: Grammar Police!

All the kids in Delta at the Robison Family Halloween party. We didn't get one on our camera this year where everyone was holding still and looking. My favorite was Hawly's costume. I said, "Oh it's Spider Girl" and she flexed her muscles for me and said, "No I am very strong. I am Spider Woman!" Good for her!

This was our annual girls' outing (with Julinne) to Witch Fest earlier this month.

Adelee was the cutest witch there, in my completely objective and unbiased opinion.

Just before trick-or-treat time. Notice Adele's costume change. She had already worn her wig for Rapunzel too many times I guess.

Elsa had her school friends over for a Halloween Dinner.

And in Delta, Ryan did this to Elsa.

Not very Halloweenish but it sure terrified her poor mother!

Then last weekend, we all headed up to the Pumpkin Festival at Heber Valley Railroad. This included a train ride and Ben was more excited, we think, than Ben has ever been about ANYTHING EVER. Every time the whistle blew, he pumped his fist and squealed "Whoo whoo!!!!"
Strong Adele getting her pumpkin to the car all by herself.

 On the train.

Our house, Halloween night.

Day at the Zoo

I didn't get very many pictures because I wanted to spend a day with these guys NOT behind a camera lens...

I snuck a few, and Adele asked for the camera to get the sea lions. She took the sea lion picture herself.

Children's Museum

Last weekend we explored the children's museum in Salt Lake.

Is there anything in the world that scares you much more than what it looks like is happening in the picture below?

I realize this is just a parking garage, but it was an ever-increasingly rare sweetness-between-sisters moment, so I captured it.

♪ Happy Trails..........to Youuuuuuuuuuuu! ♪

I don't have a clue who the little girl in orange is but she is *almost* as cute as the little girl on the horse.
(Elsa finds horses to be so boring, I guess.)

We did an art project too.

♫ Goodness Gracious, Great Balls of Fire! ♫

Only mildly less disconcerting than the helicopter.
