Three at a Time, Please

When Elsa was born, she had two baby girls waiting to be her cousins: Victoria, and Vynessa. We called the three of them, “The Brunette, the Blonde, and the Red Head.”

Elsa loves all of her cousins, but because the three of them were born in the same year span, “Nessa”, Elsa, and “Tory” have been and still are, the best of friends.

(I have super cute pictures of these girls as babies, but they were taken back in the day when digital cameras were a rare luxury. They are actually PRINTED pictures...anyone remember those?)

Lucky for Adele, her birth-year was a triplicate cousin year too! Harley and Kix were both kind enough to come along three months behind her. Permanent playmates, built right in! Who could ask for more?

And, yesterday, Benjamin Scott met his new cousin Zaylor Scott (anyone see a name theme here, or do I need to make the bold bolder?) and, as you can see from the picture, Ben is THRILLED.

He is saying, “Zaylor, I am three months older, so I will show you the ropes. This is how you how to get the big people to do stuff for you. Watch closely now, and do as I do.”

But these boys need one more friend to complete the set. Anyone wanna get on that???? Anyone?

(You know who you are!)

And P.S. Elsa likes red –headed cousins so much, she got a new one! (OK they were not born the same year, but Elsa has really taken to Oakley.)

Cousins are so fun. Our family did pretty good getting groups of kids at the same time.

I'm already on it! Though I am pretty certain that if we have a boy we will break the middle name pattern, 3 boys with the middle name Scott might be a bit much, I'm afraid of what kind of effect it could have on dad.

@Tiffany- yeah they did, but you had to do double-duty to make sure there were three when it was your turn. Talk about team player!

@Whitney - But if you have a girl you won't break the pattern? ;) You could have little "Scottella", hu?

It is super awesome to have cousins the same age. Oakley was kinda all by herself so its good that Elsa came along! They may not be the same age, but they are two peas in a pod!!! You need to come visit soon so I can see that handsome little guy again!
